Since football resumed in August, Celtic is the only unbeaten team.

Phunya Sele Sele’s qualification for the Nedbank Cup final means that they will be playing in the CAF Confederations Cup next season.

Mosimane says that the Siwelele faithful deserve to enjoy African football.

“It will be so exciting to have the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium full and buzzing with supporters, and a challenge for opponents to have to come to that noisy stadium.

“I would love to be part of that and witness history when it happens.

“It will be difficult for teams to go there. It is a great atmosphere.”

Celtic and Sundowns will face each other on Saturday in the final of the Nedbank Cup. In 2012, Phunya Sele Sele beat Downs 1-0 to win the Telkom Knockout Challenge title at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Saturday’s night final at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto kicks off at 20:00.
