Round one of the 2020/21 English Premiership continues on Monday evening win two more matches.

Over the weekend there were good wins for the champions, Liverpool, as well as Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle and Leicester City, while the new boys Leeds, Fulham and West Bromwich Albion found the going tough.

On Monday evening at 19:00 a cracker is expected at Bramhall Lane with Sheffield United up against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolves coach, Nuno Espirito Santo, says they welcome the challenge, and they know that they will be up against a tough team.

“We start against Sheffield United on Monday, a fantastic team.

“Chris Wilder's staff and his players are amazing. I truly admire them as a club and as people.

“Monday is going to be tough and I am expecting a very tough game. It’s going to be a new game.

“We have faced United several times in the Championship and in the Premier League and all the games they were very competitive, very hard and we expect a similar game.

“I think most managers would have liked more time between seasons, but we commit ourselves to the season knowing our first game is against Sheffield United and we cannot look back.

“We are preparing ourselves as much as we can and I am confident we are going to compete for sure.”

In Monday nights’ second fixture, Brighton & Hove Albion host Chelsea at the American Express Stadium, with kick-off at 21:15.
