At 13:30 on Saturday Everton are home to West Bromwich Albion, at 16:00 Leeds take on Fulham, at 18:30 Manchester United get their campaign underway when they face Crystal Palace, and at 21:00 Arsenal are at home to West Ham.

At 17:30 on Sunday, it's the pick of the weekend’s fixtures with Chelsea at home to the champions, Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues big-name signing for the season, Timo Werner, says the Reds be a lot more settled.

“I hope to win titles at Chelsea, that is obvious. Chelsea is a big club that always wants to win, like me. We have a strong and young team that can develop.

“I’m looking forward to playing against Liverpool. There are a lot of good teams in the league but Liverpool is one of the best in the world.

“It will be a good challenge to show how far we have come. But we will improve. We will try to win the game, but the whole of Liverpool’s defence is good.

“We also have great players and we have the quality to beat them. They had a better preseason than us but we can run, run, run.”

At 20:00 Leicester faces Burnley in the final match of the weekend.
