McCarthy told OFM he thinks the second-leg games will be tough, especially for Chiefs behind with three goals compared to the Pirates. Fabian says although the Pirates are on the front foot, if the Chiefs can score two goals without conceding going into the half-time break, their chances of a comeback would be possible.

Celtic coach, John Maduka, proved his coaching potential with a quarterfinal win over Mamelodi Sundowns.  Fabian says John has what it takes to win whoever they meet in the final. He further adds that he's hoping for a Chiefs and Celtic final. The first rounds of the tournament produced some entertaining games that also produced goals which, as part of the Goals for Charity initiative, is contributing R20 000 for every goal, says McCarthy.
