The MTN8 semi-finals second leg gets underway on Saturday afternoon in Bloemfontein. Bloemfontein Celtic will host SuperSport United, and the team from the Free State does hold a slight advantage after scoring an away goal in the first leg last week.

Should Celtic manage to beat SuperSport tomorrow they will reach their second successive Cup final after reaching the final of the Nedbank Cup in September.

Celtic coach, John Maduka, told OFM Sport that they will take the away goal advantage, but warned that SuperSport are the champions for a reason.

“It is good that we scored a goal and that we have an advantage, but the game is still on.

“We can't relax and think that it is going to be an easy second leg at home.

“SuperSport is one of the good teams and they are the defending champions.

“They will come out to Bloemfontein very strong. One-nil is not a big margin and anything can happen.

“We just need to plan better so that we can be able to win the game and get the results that we want.”

SuperSport coach, Kaitano Tembo, in his turn told OFM Sport that not having Celtic fans in attendance, is something they as the visiting team welcome.

“Sometimes like Celtic, it’s important for them to have their fans, but at the same time that can also work against them.

“I think they are more relaxed when they play now because they are under less pressure. That is because of the lack of fans.

“Going to Celtic without fans is one place where we would want to go where the situation is that they are going to be playing without their supporters.

“I don’t think that would really give us an advantage because we have been playing like this since the bio-bubble. All the teams are now used to playing without all of their fans.

“So, I don’t think that is such a huge issue for us.”

This crunch match at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium kicks off at 15:00.

On Sunday at 15:00, Kaizer Chiefs, host Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium in a Soweto derby. The Buccaneers won the first leg 3-0.
