We plan well, go out there and win the game - Maduka─── MORGAN PIEK 08:54 Tue, 01 Dec 2020
Bloemfontein Celtic’s Premier Soccer League match against SuperSport United has been postponed.
This is due to Phunya Sele Sele having to play against Maniema Union in Bloemfontein this weekend in their second leg of their CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round tie.
In addition, the move is also to afford Celtic time to prepare for their MTN8 final against Orlando Pirates next week Saturday.
Celtic coach, John Maduka, told OFM Sport that despite their win in Kinshasa on Sunday, they can’t afford to let their guard down.
“We were about to win our first-ever Confederations Cup games against one of the teams from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, so we are very happy about that.
“At the same time, we cannot relax because we know that the second leg is going to be very difficult.
“We are looking forward to it and we just need to make sure that we plan well and go out there and win the game.”
Celtic and Maniema go head-to-head at 15:30 on Saturday at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium.
