The new boys in the league, Swallows, welcome the underdogs tag ahead of tomorrow’s top of the table clash against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League.

Sundowns are the triple defending champions, while the Dube Birds are enjoying their first season back in the PSL after many years in the lower leagues.

Both teams are on 26 points ahead of the fixture in Atteridgeville.

Following their 1-1 draw to Chippa United on Wednesday evening, Swallows coach, Brandon Truter, said the pressure in on the Brazilians.

“Maybe we will play the occasions, after all, it will be against the champions.

“They are champions for three years in a row. I still maintain; who are we to just to come into this league and be title contenders?

“It's all about the next game, and they are next. We also know that they had an extra day to rest and it does play a huge part.

“The human body takes 72 hours to recover and they had that, we will only have 48 hours.

“But, the pressure is on them. They should win it.”

This game at the Lucas Moripe Stadium kicks off at 15:00 on Saturday afternoon.
