The 32-year-old Mabokgwane has penned a three-year contract extension which will see him remaining at Phunya Sele Sele until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Meanwhile, there are still doubts over the defensive midfielder, Lucky “Sheriff” Baloyi, whose contract expires at the end of June.

It is expected that the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder will also be offered a contract extension.

Celtic will be in action on Sunday when they host TS Galaxy at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium.
