This comes after Chelsea outclassed Real Madrid in London on Wednesday night with a 2-0 win to set up a date with Manchester City.

Timo Wener handed the Blues the lead in the 28th minute, with Mason Mount scoring in the 85th minute.

Chelsea finished the 2nd legged semi-final with an aggregate of 3-1 following the 1-1 draw in Spain a week ago.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel lauded his charges for the spirit they showed.

“It was difficult in the first half when they had a lot of possession and made us suffer.

“We were dangerous on counter-attacks, but never lost the desire or hunger to defend

“It was a fantastic performance in the second half and we could have scored earlier to be safe.

“It is a fantastic achievement and big congratulations to the team

“I am very happy that we have achieved this, I am very grateful and thankful to have this opportunity.”

The Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City will be played on 29 May.
