SoccerMaybe we need more marches - Hunt

The Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs, expect nothing less than a tough day at the office when they face Simba SC on Saturday in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
Over the weekend, the Amakhosi gave themselves a massive advantage by beating the team from Dar es Salaam 4-0 at the FNB Stadium in the first leg.
The under-fire Glamour Boys coach, Gavin Hunt, said that maybe Friday’s march by the Amakhosi faithful was that little bit of inspiration that his charges needed.
“Maybe that helped us win, hey. Maybe we need more marches.
“Listen, you've got to respect the supporters, they're obviously feeling the pain and we all do, and they're only voicing their grievances.
“And I think it's important the way it was done, it was handled very well and I think it's also important that we respond. A win like tonight will soften it a little bit.
“But it's not about tonight, it's about the next game, and that's what football is about. It's important that we knuckle down, give the supporters what we can.”
Mamelodi Sundowns in their turn lost their 1st leg 2-0 to the Egyptian giants, Al Ahly, in Cairo. The two teams meet this week in the second leg at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
