The under-fire Kaizer Chiefs coach, Gavin Hunt, believes that CAF Champions League football is much better suited to his squad as opposed to that of the Premier Soccer League.
The Amakhosi have one foot in the Champions League semi-finals, while locally they have managed just six wins from their 27 PSL games this season.
Hunt explains why continental football is better suited to his players.
“It's a game suited to this squad of players because of what we have got.
“It's a slower and much more predictable game. It comes at you, where as in the PSL, I'll always said that the players run faster than the ball.
“It's much slower in the Champions League, so maybe it suites that players that we've got here, where it's a little bit more methodical and a little bit more direct.”
Chiefs face Simba in Dar es Salaam on Saturday in the second leg of the quarter-finals.
