South Africa’s 1-0 win over Zimbabwe last night has given them a three-point cushion and a draw or win against the Black Stars will see them enter the final round of qualifiers.

While South Africa unbeaten in the group with four wins and a draw, the coach, Hugo Broos, wasn’t happy with last night’ performance.

Broos said he is sure his team will be switched on mentally against Ghana.

“I saw it the dressing room - there was no joy or no party. They were happy because they won.

“But there was a big difference in what I saw after the game against Ghana or after the game here against Ethiopia.

“They know that the performance was not good, but I am sure that for the game on Sunday they will be more ready to play that game.”

Sunday’s World Cup qualifier in Cape Coast kicks off at 21:00.
