At 18:30 the University of the Free State will be at home to Wits in Bloemfontein. A win for Kovsies on Thursday evening will guarantee them of a place in the semi-finals of the tournament.

The captain, Thapello Madrati – who is out injured - told OFM Sport that this is a must-win game for the team.

“Personally, I think that this is one game where we have no choice but to win, said the injured skipper.

“The camp is really full of confidence and they showed a lot of character over the past two weeks to collect three points in Durban and a point from the draw against UJ in Soweto.

“There are certain areas that we need to improve on, like scoring more goals. Winning by a 1-0 margin against UKZN was just not up to par or the way that we want to win.”

At the same time, the Vaal University of Technology will be up against the defending champions, UJ, in Soweto.

In the final match of the round, North-West will face TUT. This game in Mahikeng kicks off at 19:15.
