The Bafana Bafana coach, Hugo Broos, is back in South Africa and will be in charge for their upcoming international friendlies.
Helman Mkhalele recently coached the national side during their CHAN qualifiers and the Cosafa Cup and this led to speculation that the Belgian coach walked out on the team.
SAFA has confirmed that there will be friendlies during the September international break.
Bafana will face both Botswana and Sierra Leone this month and Broos will be naming his 23-man squad for these two matches on Thursday afternoon.
SAFA is yet to confirm the venues and dates of the international friendlies.
