On Saturday, the Chiefs will face their bitter rivals, Orlando Pirates, in the Premier Soccer League and it will no doubt be the biggest game of the weekend and the season to date.

The 49-year-old Zwane played close to 200 games for the Amakhosi in his career and he has played in his fair share of derbies against the old rivals, Orlando Pirates.

More than 80 000 fans are expected to attend what is South Africa's biggest sporting derby and it also ranks as one of the biggest in the world.

The former midfielder said it's an honour to coach the Glamour Boys in the derby.

"The history of the two giants gives you goosebumps," said the former Bafana Bafana player who spent a part of his youth career at Liverpool.

"When they meet, everything in the country comes to a stand-still. I for one, being there as a player and now as a coach - it's a privilege.

"But, also knowing very well the responsibility on our shoulders to go out there and give our best."

Saturday afternoon's derby between Chiefs and Buccaneers at Soccer City kicks off at 15:30.
