Competition terms and conditions:

• The competition is only open to parents, guardians and their children, aged between five and 12 years.
• A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child to the eye examination at Mellins.
• Employees of Mellins Optometrists, their immediate families, and OFM staff are not eligible to enter.
• Only one entry per parent and child will be accepted.
• The competition runs from 15 to 19 September 2025.
• Winners have until 15 October 2025 to redeem their prizes.
• Each daily prize consists of:
• Two comprehensive eye examinations: one for the child and one for the parent (valued at R499 each).
• One pair of sunglasses for the child (valued up to R1 500).
• One pair of sunglasses for one parent (valued up to R11 000).
• If required, one pair of spectacles (frame and lenses) with prescription lenses for the child (valued up to R8 500).

Prize conditions:

• To qualify for the sunglasses and the spectacles for the child, both the parent and child must first undergo a free eye examination at Mellins.
• The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or transferred to another person.
• The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other Mellins promotions, vouchers, or discounts.
