This weekend, the Bornfree Civil’s SA Senior Pro Am Sunshine Tournament takes place at Orkney Golf Club.

FORMAT: 1 SA Pro & 3 amateurs compete in a 4-ball alliance with 2 scores to count.
 
On Sunday only: a hole-in-one on the 2nd can let you win a tractor!

The Real Good Weekend featuring the Central SA Top 30 with CTM, broadcasts live from the event this Saturday from 9am.

The Orkney Golf Club offers a 18 hole course with lush greens, tree-lined fairways and well-bunked surrounds. In 1939 legendary golf club architect Bob Grimsdell designed a 9 hole course on the banks of the Vaal River. His fee was one hundred pounds.

The second nine holes were added in the mid-forties and the brick clubhouse was built in 1953.
