The Shoprite Checkers OFM Chip 4 Charity stops in Hartswater, Potchefstroom and Bethlehem to raise funds for local beneficiaries along with Round Table.
- The format for all three days will be a four-ball alliance, with two scores to count.
- The four-balls can be booked at R2 000 (each four-ball includes an OFM gift, a round of 18 holes, a halfway lunch, dinner, and live entertainment), see booking details for each venue below.
- Waterholes are available at the clubs at R2 000 each.
- There will be R45 000 in prizes up for grabs.
- Karoo Musiek will provide live entertainment after the prizegiving.
This year’s beneficiaries are:
Jan Roux (17) from Hartswater was diagnosed with Myoepithelial Carcinoma in March this year. He has since received various radiation treatments but the cancer has not subsided. Jan now requires chemo therapy.
Louisa Klopper from Potchefstroom requires surgery and chemo therapy as part of her breast cancer treatment.
Liza Engelbrecht (5) from Bethlehem currently battles chronic granulomatous disease. She received a stem cell transplant but her body rejected it and she requires further treatment.
