Vrystaat Kunstefees back for its 25th year!

Taking place on the University of the Free State campus in the heart of Bloemfontein from 15 to 19 July 2025, the festival brings together a vibrant mix of theatre, visual art, music, literature, and more.
Expect a powerful celebration of Afrikaans, Sesotho, and English art forms, with performances from local and international talents. From groundbreaking stage productions to thought-provoking exhibitions and family-friendly fun — there’s something for everyone.
