As the first stop of Africa's premier skateboarding series, the KDC Grand Slam will see some of South Africa's top skateboarders competing for glory, prize money, valuable ranking points, and a coveted place at the Kimberley Diamond Cup Championships.

Taking place at the Mangaung Regional Park in Selosesha Unit 1, Thaba Nchu, the event promises a full day of high-flying tricks and technical skill, and fierce competition. Whether you're an avid skater, an action sports enthusiast, or simply looking for an exciting family outing, this is an event you won't want to miss. Entry is free.

The season will culminate in the prestigious Kimberley Diamond Cup Championship Final on 05 December 2026, where the country's highest-ranked skateboarders will compete alongside invited international athletes for national and international honours.

The 2026 Championship Final will once again feature invited international skateboarders, building on the success of previous editions. At the 2025 Kimberley Diamond Cup Championship, the Open Division titles were claimed by international competitors, demonstrating the world-class standard of the event:
