The Midvaal Fast One Road Cycle Challenge takes place on 25 January 2026 in Midvaal, Gauteng, celebrating its 29th year. This popular event is known as one of the fastest and flattest road cycle races in South Africa. The race is a Rotary fundraising project, with all proceeds going back into local community projects. Riders can choose between a 62 km or 106 km route, with R50,000 prize money available for elite riders. E-bikes and tandem bikes are welcome, making it an inclusive event for a wide range of cyclists. Riders are encouraged to bring along their team members and supporters.
