Case against former North West Crime Unit boss postponed─── BLAINE JONES 13:01 Thu, 04 Nov 2021

The shoplifting case against the former head of the Specialised Commercial Crime Unit in the North West has been postponed to 28 February 2022.
Advocate Jeanette Nevelling appeared before the Molopo Magistrate's Court on Wednesday where her R500 bail was extended until her next court appearance in 2022.
The National Prosecuting Authority's (NPA) spokesperson, Henry Mamothame, says Nevelling was arrested back in February of this year when she allegedly stole clothing and food items valued at approximately R3000 at the Crossing Shopping Mall in Mmabatho. Nevelling has since resigned from the NPA.
Meanwhile, Advocate Mashudu Mudau has been appointed from the Limpopo Division of the NPA to ensure there was no perceived conflict of interest, and indicated to the court that the state is ready to go to trial.
