According to provincial police spokesperson, Adele Myburgh, the funeral service started at 7 am this morning at Christian Life Church, 77 Le Roux Street in Lichtenburg.

OFM News previously reported on the shocking death of the two police officers. It was reported that on Monday Sergeant Mojalefa Molete and Constable Simon Ntsekeletsa attended to a stock theft incident in Mareetsane. However, the pair went missing that night.

The next day,  the remains of the two police officers were discovered at the back of their burnt state vehicle outside Moseta.  

Five suspects have been arrested for the alleged murder of the two cops.
