The Free State police have confirmed that they are still gathering evidence to investigate the accident which took place last week, in what residents call a danger zone.

OFM News previously reported on a car accident that injured four people, including school kids. The passengers survived the accident when a light motor vehicle collided with an SUV bakkie in Milner Road, leading to Bayswater in Bloemfontein in the Free State.

Police spokesperson in the Free State, Peter Kareli, tells OFM News that the matter is still under investigation, and no one has been arrested as police are still gathering much-needed evidence.

The lecturer of one of the injured passengers, Chef Ruanda Hewetson, told OFM News that Tshepiso Myataza, a student who was involved in the accident, was released from the hospital with a minor leg injury later on the day of the accident.

Residents have also raised their concerns on the accident scene, describing it as a danger zone after multiple accidents recently occurred in this street - Aliwal Street, which becomes Milner Road, and then Kenneth Kaunda Road.
