Toddlers receive pro-bono dental surgery as a result of a collaboration of both HeadStart Foundation and Cure Day Hospital, in Bloemfontein.
Speaking to OFM News, Loami Rossouw, who is the manager of the Cure Day Hospital, says that they are extremely happy to be a part of an initiative that makes a difference in children's lives.
She says the objective of this initiative is to mend any inadequacies that prohibit full dental function. Rossouw adds that the beneficiaries of the surgeries are from the Carel Du Toit Centre in Bloemfontein.
Meanwhile, the mother of one of the patients that had undergone dental surgery, Mpho Machogo, expressed her gratitude towards HeadStart Foundation and the Cure Day Hospital for this initiative. She said that such initiatives allow parents to afford their children rare opportunities.
She mentions that the financial assistance of the collaboration is an invaluable gift. Machogo concludes by saying she is filled with appreciation as this surgery will put a full smile on her son's face.
