Alleged child killer remains in custody─── 16:51 Wed, 23 Mar 2022
The case against 40-year-old Mzingizi Bushin Mdliki, who stands accused of strangling two children to death, was postponed to April 6 for a formal bail application in the Vanderbiljpark Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
The suspect remains in custody.
He is facing two charges of murder, and two of attempted murder.
It has previously been reported that the suspect allegedly took his former girlfriend's two children, and two nephews, to a field where he tied the children to a tree.

Two of the children died on the scene, while one was taken to hospital.
The fourth child escaped unharmed, and notified community members - who alerted the police.
