Social Development's office furniture returned─── TSHEHLA KOTELI 13:46 Mon, 13 Jun 2022
The Free State High Court has directed the Sheriff to return office furniture that was recently attached at the Civilia Building, which houses the Free State Department of Social Development.
It remains a mystery as to why the department’s furniture was attached by the Sheriff in the first place.
The department's acting spokesperson, Lindiwe Mnguni, stated that the Free State High Court has granted the department an order directing the Sheriff to return the department’s property with immediate effect.
This follows after the Sheriff was removing the department’s furniture since last week Wednesday. Mnguni’s reply to OFM News was that she cannot comment on the issue as it is with the department’s legal team.
