A member of the ANC's National Executive Committee (PEC), Melusi Gigaba, has confirmed that Ramaphosa will address delegates attending the conference, before the chosen chairperson closes it.
The conference has been delayed and voting is expected to start any moment.
A delegate from the Maquassi-Hills Local Municipality, Tshepo Mokgabi, told OFM News that the atmosphere is great, and that voting will be interesting and may push delegates beyond their boundaries.
