Mangaung's water finally restored─── ZENANDE MPAME 12:13 Fri, 10 Mar 2023
Community members have been informed by the Mangaung Metro that Brandkop reservoir's water supply has been restored and that the Longridge Reservoir is now receiving water from the mainline.
The pumping capacity has been increased, and Bloem Water will continue to monitor the situation as the system progressively recovers.
Tankers carrying water are still being sent to the impacted communities.

Water tankers have been sent to the majority of the impacted, high-lying areas, although water supply outages are still affecting some neighbourhoods.
Metro spokesperson Qondile Khedama urged residents in various areas to be patient. “We ask that people exercise patience as these tankers take some time to reach all areas because of the high demand,” Khedama pleaded.
Mangaung Metro sincerely apologised for any inconvenience caused.
