The Northern Cape Department of Education concluded its admission process yesterday (17/8).
Placement for 23,911 learners has been finalised using the 2024 online admissions process, intended for learners who applied via the electronic admissions system for Grades R, 1, and 8 for the 2024 school year.
“Parents and legal guardians will be informed via SMS on Friday (18/8) on the outcome of their application,” said Northern Cape Department of Education spokesperson Geoffrey van der Merwe.
Parents can appeal online to the office of the MEC if they want to do so based on the results of their placement. They will be notified of the decision made by the MEC.
