22 Merino sheep were found stacked in a taxi on Wednesday (23/8) at about 03:00 and four suspects were arrested.
The suspects are between the ages of 30 and 40 years old and were arrested. They will appear in the Dewetsdorp Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of livestock theft, and possession of stolen livestock.
The Bloemfontein Flying Squad, in collaboration with the Park Road Stock Theft Unit, received information to be on the lookout for a white Toyota Quantum.
The team rushed to the R702 between Dewetsdorp and Bloemfontein. The vehicle was spotted and a high-speed chase followed.
