Yanya Siyila (27) from North West, who was missing for several days, has been found.

Police spokesperson Adéle Myburgh said Siyila was found after information was received from a community member, who recognised him on social media. He is admitted in hospital after an alleged assault.

At the time of his disappearance, he was last seen by his brother at midnight on Saturday (26/8) at a local tavern in Luka with friends. A search was conducted around the township and surrounding areas of Luka without any success.

“SAPS appreciates the community’s assistance. By being our eyes and ears, this family could be re-united.”
