CUT donates industrial machinery to TVET college─── ZENANDE MPAME 13:18 Thu, 28 Sep 2023
This equipment is intended to boost engineering students' training.
The machines were donated to Maluti TVET College in Phuthaditjhaba last week and they are worth R279 616.64.
The four donated machines are intended to help college students and staff strengthen their technical abilities and get useful practical experience in their respective fields.
“The partnership exemplifies a shared commitment to education, innovation, and skill development. It is a testament to the positive outcomes of educational institutions collaborating to empower the next generation of skilled professionals,” said the spokesperson of CUT Seithati Semenokane.

CUT, in collaboration with the Product Development Technology Station, working together with the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, will also give Maluti TVET College thorough training and assistance to make sure it makes the most of these machines.
“The shared aim of both institutions to improve technical education and increase the skills of students and staff is highlighted by their commitment to knowledge transfer,” added Semenokane.
