The EFF's National Disciplinary Committee has fired a total of 18 party representatives in Central South Africa, including the Northern Cape, Free State, and North West.
This after party representatives failed to secure transport for the EFF's 10th party anniversary at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto, Gauteng.
Three party members from the Northern Cape were shown the door by the party's National Disciplinary Committee, as were three from the Free State whilst North West booted the most councillors after twelve were fired in the province.
KwaZulu-Natal accounts for the most fired councillors nationally after 33 members were fired.
The EFF National Spokesperson, Leigh-Ann Mathys said all those who failed to follow the directives from the party were charged, and the party's national disciplinary committee decided to fire all 62 members.
“On Wednesday (18/10), the national disciplinary committee presented the verdicts on all charged members during a special sitting of the central command team,” Mathys said.
