Knights Covid-19 players in high spirits─── MORGAN PIEK 09:08 Thu, 09 Jul 2020
The two VKB Knights players who tested positive for Covid-19 are doing well and are in high spirits. This is according to their coach, Allan Donald.
The pair are self-isolating for their safety and that of their teammates. According to a source, one player would have completed his isolation by the weekend.
Told OFM Sport that the pair are both asymptomatic and he is confident that they will be joining the rest of the team in the fitness sessions soon.
“Those two guys are doing exceptionally well. It for their protection and their wellbeing that we won't mention who they are.
“They are doing well – they are asymptomatic, they are in high spirits and we speak to them daily and they are doing well.
“Hopefully in a couple weeks’ time, they will be out here with us and joining us with our slow integration into preseason training.
The Knights players have already completed three days limited and fitness training.
