Snyman is one of two Knights named in the squad for the series of three matches to be played in Lahore.

The other being the Knights captain, Pite van Biljon, who in his turn will be touring aboard with the Proteas for the first time.

Snyman told OFM Sport that he can’t wait to test himself in international cricket.

“It is a massive dream that came true. Ever since I was a little boy I’ve wanted to represent my country.

“Now I do have the chance to do so. A lot of credit has to go to the coaches, Allan Donald and JP Triegaardt, for always helping and assisting me in growing my game.

“I’m really excited to go to that higher level. I just want to learn more and give it my best.”

Snyman has had a small taste of international cricket in the past when he represented the Cricket South Africa Invitational XI against England at Boland Park in Paarl in January of 2020.

One the day, Snyman, already proved that he can play against the best with a fine knock 65-runs off of 67 deliveries. His innings, which was somewhat of a patient one by his standards, included 6 fours and 2 sixes.

The 1st T20 International will be played on 11 February.
