That is if the weather in Potchefstroom permits any play at all.

The Knights are scheduled to face the Lions in order to see who earns the right to face the Dolphins in the final.

On Monday, the defending champions advanced after beating the Cape Cobras by three wickets.

The Knights captain, Wandile Makwetu, told OFM Sport that if they do get to play, they are ready.

“The boys are looking forward to. It is going to be a crunch game for us. We are just looking forward to being able to play in a semi-final after we weren't able to play the semi last year. To be able to reach the semi-final again, albeit under bizarre circumstances we just look forward to testing our skills again, and hopefully we will be able to give ourselves a chance to play in the final.

“We just want to compete for silverware. That has been our entire goal this season, so we've given ourselves half a chance by qualifying for the semis. We're just going to go out there and do what we do best.

“Hopefully the rain stays away, but there is not much we can do about the weather. We will keep an eye on it, but we are really just focused on our plans. Our prep has been really good and we've made the most of every single bit of preparation we've had.

“It's nice to be able to have a nearly full-strength squad to choose from, barring a couple of Proteas who are away. Besides those who are away, the boys in our squad are excited and are raring to go.”

If no play is possible the Lions will advance to the final.

Play at Senwes Park is scheduled to get underway at 10:00.
