The Itec Knights received some welcome news ahead of going into the bio-bubble for the quarter-finals of the CSA T20 Knockout in Kimberley.
The two former Proteas batsman, Rilee Rossouw and Farhaan Behardien, have both been declared fit for the knockout phase.
Rossouw in particular was a concern after picking up a knee niggle against the KZN Tuskers.
The Knights coach, Allan Donald, told OFM Sport that both of the players are fit and ready.
“Rilee Rossouw and Farhaan Behardien are absolutely fit. There are no issues whatsoever. That was just precautionary.
“The thing what was in our favour was that we won both of our first games and we could rest those guys.
“It was a little bit sort of a deep breath, but luckily nothing serious.
“They are fully fit and declared ready to go and play.”
The Knights and Western Province got head-to-head on Tuesday at 14:30 in the quarter-finals at the Diamond Oval.
