Dudgeon excited ahead of Knights debut─── MORGAN PIEK 08:12 Thu, 25 Nov 2021
The all-rounder, Keith Dudgeon, is set to make his debut for the Itec Knights this morning on day one of the CSA 4-Day Division 1 game against the Lions in Johannesburg.
Dudgeon has been brought in as a loan player from the KwaZulu-Natal Tuskers as cover for Migael Pretorius who is with the South African A team for the series against India A.
Dudgeon told OFM Sport that he made his first-class debut for the Lions against the Knights.
“It's been so refreshing to walk into a side where the guys are so welcoming and hospitable to a new player coming into their environment.
“Just looking forward to the opportunity.
“I actually made my debut for the Lions against the Knights a couple of years ago and here I am now playing for the Knights back at the Wanderers where I grew up.”
Play at the Wanderers is scheduled to get underway at 10:00.
Meanwhile, in Potchefstroom, the North West Dragons host the Dolphins.
