Lee, who missed out on the series against the West Indies due to Covid-19, did not travel with the team to New Zealand as she stayed behind for the birth of her and her partner’s first-born.

As Lee joined the team in New Zealand late, she is still undergoing her mandatory isolation period in the MIQ.

She could be available for their next game against Pakistan next week Friday.

The Proteas will face Bangladesh in Dunedin and this game gets underway at midnight on Saturday.
