The 21-year-old Coetzee, who has been tipped to be a future Protea, is the only player from the Central franchise to be named in the squads for the three One-Day games and five T20’s against the Zimbabwe XI in Harare.

Coetzee, who has previously represented South Africa at age group level told OFM Sport that he is ready to soak up the experience.

“I'm eager to see what my skill will be at this level.

“How you match up to other players when you play to his level is always the question. I'm also calm in the sense that we have a very strong side for the tour.

“I'm very excited to go to Zimbabwe, play good cricket and whatever happens - it will be a good learning opportunity.”

The first One-Day game will be played at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday.
