Stubbs set for maiden Proteas call-up─── MORGAN PIEK 08:15 Tue, 17 May 2022
The in-form and destructive Warriors batter, Tristan Stubbs, is expected to be the only new face in the Proteas squad for the upcoming T20 International series against India on the subcontinent.
South Africa is scheduled to face India in a series of five T20 Internationals that will include games in Delhi, Cuttack and Bengaluru.
The 21-year-old Stubbs burst onto the season this past season and his performances also earned him a call-up by the Mumbai Indians for the Indian Premier League.
The much talked about Dewald Brewis has not been included in the squad, while it is expect that Proteas stars in the IPL will be back in action.
CSA will name the team at 9:00 this morning and the first T20 International is scheduled to played in Delhi on 9 June.
