Miller not fazed by extra pressure─── MORGAN PIEK 09:48 Wed, 08 Jun 2022
The Proteas will be banking on their Indian Premier League stars during the five-match T20 International series against India which gets underway on Thursday in Delhi.
The Proteas batters did well in the IPL and a lot of focus will be on Quinton de Kock and David Miller who both where under the top six run-scorers in the competition.
The bowlers all did well and the recent experience of the conditions on the subcontinent will help the Proteas cause.
Miller said there is no extra pressure to perform and this is due to the experience which allows him to deal with it better.
“Every international game that I've played, regardless of what kind of responsibility I've had, whether it be senior or junior, there is always a sense of pressure.
“I don't think it changes at all. With the experience I have now, I deal with it a lot better.
“It's quite a nice feeling knowing that I've been at the IPL for many years and can impart a lot of knowledge.”
Thursday’s first T20 International in Delhi gets underway at 15:30.
