A big season lies ahead for the Knights─── MORGAN PIEK 08:33 Thu, 01 Sep 2022
The ITEC Knights are ready to get their very important 2022/23 domestic cricket season underway. Right off the bat, the Knights are under pressure as this coming season's promotion-relegation will come into play.
The Knights are currently at the bottom of the standings in Division 1 and will have their work cut out in order to stay in the top-flight.
The Knights coach, JP Triegaardt, told OFM Sport that it’s important to focus on their own process.
“It has been an exciting and productive three months of preseason leading up to the new campaign.
“We all know what to expect and what lies ahead for us in the new season.
“As a whole I can tell you that we are just focusing on what we need to do and look after all the small things to achieve all of those big goals in the end.
“We are more process-driven and are making sure that we do all the basics correct.”
The Knights travel to Kimberley next week where they will face the Northern Cape Heat in a handful of warm-up games.
