The Proteas have won the five-match One-Day International series against Australia by clinching the decider at the Wanderers by 122 runs in Johannesburg on Sunday.
The Proteas scored 315/9 in their allotted 50 overs at the Wanderers with Aiden Markram top scoring with 93, while David Miller scored 63.
Marco Jansen in turn impressed again with the bat by scoring 47 runs, while Andile Phehlukwayo smashed 38 runs off 19 balls.
The spinner, Adam Zampa, was the pick of the Australian bowlers with 3/70 in his 10 overs.
The left-arm seamer, Jansen, was the star with the ball by taking 5/39 in 8 overs, while the spinner Keshav Maharaj took 4/33 in 9.1 overs as Australia were bowled out for 193 runs. This was a career-best bowling performance for the Potchefstroom born and bred Jansen.
Mitchell Marsh played a captain's knock for Australia with 71 off 56 balls, while the Klerksdorp-born Marnus Labuschagne contributed with 44 runs.
Following the match Jansen said he is embracing the role of playing as an allrounder and despite the extra pressure, he is enjoying it.
“It's tough but it's nice at the same time,” said the lanky player that started his career at the Knights.
“It's a bit more responsibility but for me it's important to go out there and enjoy it.

South Africa clinched the series 3-2 after fighting back from 2-0 down after the first two ODI’s.
The Proteas next assignment will be the Cricket World Cup in India, but first they will face Afghanistan on 29 September in Thiruvananthapuram in the first of their two warm-up games. They take in New Zealand on 2 October at the same venue.
