The team will have to make do without their captain Laura Wolvaardt for the first game on Sunday because of her commitments with the Adelaide Strikers in the Women’s Big Bash League in Australia.

She will however be back for the second and three games that will be played in Kimberley, as well as the One-Day International series.

Chloe Tryon would be the natural choice to take over the captaincy in the absence of Wolvaardt, however, she is not available for the series due to an injury.

The former captain, Suné Luus, could be considered, however she stepped away from the role not so long ago. Cricket SA will announce the interim captaincy in the coming days.

Sunday's game at Willowmoore Park gets underway at 14:00. The second and third T20 Internationals will be played in Kimberley.
