“The last two games are definitely going to be very important for us. We’ll revisit some of the plans we have, in terms of bowling and fielding, and then with the batting also apply ourselves better.”

The Proteas Women will be in action again on Wednesday when they face Bangladesh in Kimberley in the second T20 International.

South Africa will be looking to draw level in the series after losing by 13-runs during the first game of the series on Sunday at Willowmoore Park in Benoni.

The Proteas have received a major boost with the return of their captain, Laura Wolvaardt, following her commitments with the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League in Australia.

Meanwhile, Anneke Bosch, who scored a career-highest 67-runs on Sunday, said better execution will be key.

“Our bowling wasn’t at its on Sunday and it can and should be a lot better. Definitely towards the end, with our plans at the death,” said the former Kovsie.

“Our planning was a bit off, but we also didn’t execute the plans that we did have. I think it's going to be crucial that we plan better, but it's no use if we have plans and then don’t apply them.

“The last two games are definitely going to be very important for us. We’ll revisit some of the plans we have, in terms of bowling and fielding, and then with the batting also apply ourselves better.

“We are all disappointed that we could chase that score down, so there are two big games and a lot to play for.”

Play at the Diamond Oval gets underway on Wednesday night at 18:00.
