From Britney Spears' oopsie to Avril Lavigne's come back!

Britney oopsie!

Britney Spears called out the wrong city while performing at a concert in the UK and some of her loyal fans weren't happy.

It appears the 'Toxic' singer forgot where she was during a concert in Blackpool, England .

In video footage posted online by a concert-goer, Spears can be heard addressing the crowd, where she says "Birmingham" instead of Blackpool.

No voice, no voice

U2 cut short an Experience & Innocence 2018 tour concert in Berlin after Bono lost his voice on stage.

The 58-year-old front man had performed a few songs over the course of 20 minutes and was heard struggling to sing "Red Flag Day." He and the band then stopped the music so he could address the audience. He speculated that stage smoke in the Mercedes-Benz Arena had affected his voice.

Bono offered a health update on U2's website, saying "I've seen a great doctor and with his care I'll be back to full voice for the rest of the tour. So happy and relieved that anything serious has been ruled out. My relief is tempered by the knowledge that the Berlin audience were so inconvenienced. There was an amazing atmosphere in the house, it was going to be one of those unforgettable nights but not for this reason… We can't wait to get back there on November 13th."

Caster Semenya meets her idol

Taking to Instagram to show us the champions together, was Caster’s biggest fan, her wife Ledile Violet, who took snaps of the Lebron and Caster.

Craig Lucas speaks up

The Voice SA winner Craig Lucas has penned a heartfelt letter detailing the compromises he's had to make in the name of fame that almost cost him his sanity and  life.

In the letter Craig revealed he's gay and that he struggled to come out of the closet, which caused him to contemplate suicide.

After a long emotional struggle Craig managed to live his truth, but that was until he won the popular singing competition in 2017.

"People started telling me to keep the fact that I was in a relationship with a man a secret - 'the audience is conservative'- no one will vote for you. So I did, and I won. "I'm glad I listened to them," I thought. People then said, 'No one will buy your music if they think you are gay. Girls are your biggest market, you will alienate them'. Before I knew it I was back in the closet again," Craig wrote.

The singer explained that while it looked like he was living his best life on the outside, the internal conflict took its toll on him.

"My career was flourishing. I was wholly depressed. Suicidal thoughts plagued my mind. I'd become a very angry man. Hurt people really do hurt people. I hated myself. I was wasted every other day. There was even drugs. I had forgotten myself."

Craig said that it took hitting rock bottom a few times for him to realise that he was suffering because he was living a lie.

Avril Lavigne making a comeback

After much anticipation, the singer behind huge hits including "Sk8er Boi," "Complicated" and "Here's to Never Growing Up" revealed to fans that her first single is coming sooner rather than later.

Titled "Head Above Water," the track will be released on September 19 and will come from a very personal place.

"I spent the last few years at home sick fighting Lyme Disease. Those were the worst years of my life as I went through both physical and emotional battles. I was able to turn that fight into music I'm really proud of," Avril shared on her personal website. "I wrote songs in my bed and on the couch and recorded there mostly as well. Words and lyrics that were so true to my experience came pouring out of me effortlessly. Truly... by keeping my spirits up, having goals to reach and a purpose to live for, my music helped to heal me and keep me alive."
