It's official, the body of Cardiff City player Emiliano Sala has been recovered from the wreckage of a crashed plane, according to Dorset Police.
The 28-year-old was travelling to Cardiff in a plane piloted by David Ibbotson, which went missing over the English Channel last month.
The body was recovered on Wednesday evening after the wreckage was found on Sunday.
Police confirmed the identification of the body last night.
The Argentinian forward was travelling from Nantes, where the striker had been playing.
Sala was set to join his new teammates at Cardiff after he was acquired for a club record fee of 18-million pounds (R326-million).
