Tiger Woods - Golfweek
The 15-time major champion, Tiger Woods, has officially withdrawn from next month's US Open that will be played at the Los Angeles Country Club in California.
Woods did not participate in last week’s PGA Championship at Oak Hill either as he is still recovering from surgery to his ankle.
The three-time US Open champion withdrew halfway through the Masters at Augusta earlier in the year after injuring his ankle while playing a shot from a bunker.
This marks the third straight year in which Woods has missed the US Open.
The US Open runs will get underway on 15 June 2023.
